What are we Upto Now??????

What are we Upto Now??

As a Nation, we are basking in the glory of our new found confidence, economic independence and technological accumen.

As a Society, we are evolving into a pseudo American, pro west, cultural hotch potch.

As an Individual, we are hanging between the fulfilment of our material desires and our spiritual interdependence.

As a Politician, we are trying to be democratic by being autocratic.

As a System, we are following a confusing approach to simplicity.

As an Indian, we are basking in the glory of our new found confidence, economic independence and technological accumen and all the time evolving into psedo american, pro western social beings trying to fulfill our material desires and pondering still on our spiritual interdependence, surving autocratically in a democratic state and living a complicated life in the most simplest of moments.

What are we Doing Now????

Nervous First -Timer

Hello to everyone who is reading this and to everyone else who is consumed by their thoughts, ideas, actions or a little mischief.

This is my first time writing a blog and as the name suggests, this will be the book of my thoughts, my ideas and my little mischief.

Before i start pouring into this gorge the waters of my words, I would like to celebrate my identity as an Indian. We recently celebrated our 61st Independence day and a thought came up which required presentation. So here it is- officialy my first blog - A tribute to my country....

OUR INDEPENDENCE OUR FREEDOM

In troops we marched no guns in hand,
No tanks and bombs surround,
We stood upon our holy land,
To free our country bound.

Our leaders spoke in unison,
The sons of our soil,
They stood against the mighty force,
To Freedom they were loyal.

Together we cried the enchanted words,
Vande Mataram was the war cry,
The black, the brown and even the lords,
For freedom were ready to die.

The struggle went on a 100 year,
At last hope prevailed,
Freedom was finally near,
Our county was no more jailed.

Midnight the 15th of August,
Before the break of dawn,
Arose from the depths of white dust,
Our Country of millions Indian.

Its 61 years today,
Since that fateful night,
Lets Make a pledge this August Day,
The Indian Star shines forever Bright.
